Biography

Michael J. Small, President and Chief Executive Officer, Director, has served as Gogo’s President and Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board since February 2010. Mr. Small joined Gogo with over 30 years of experience in the communications industry. Previously, from January 1999 until November 2009, Mr. Small served as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of then-public Centennial Communications Corporation, a regional telecom service provider. From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Small served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of 360 Degrees Communications Company. Prior to 1995, he served as President of Lynch Corporation, a diversified acquisition-oriented company with operations in telecommunications, manufacturing and transportation services. Mr. Small has also served on the Board of Directors of First Midwest Bancorp. since 2010, and previously served on the Board of Directors of Centennial Communications from 1999 to 2009. Mr. Small holds a B.A. from Colgate University and received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
