Biography

Sergio Aguirre, general manager for Gogo’s Business Aviation division, joined Gogo in 2007. Prior to joining Gogo, Mr. Aguirre served as director of OEM and aftermarket sales for Securaplane, helping to pioneer the installation of exterior cameras on corporate aviation aircraft. He served in a similar capacity for Airshow in the late 1990s where he was part of the team that launched the first Ku TV system. From 1989-1996 Mr. Aguirre served as an aircraft completions mechanic and customer account manager for Gulfstream Aerospace where he was involved in the first installations of Inmarst systems on Gulfstream aircraft. From 1984-1988 Mr. Aguirre served in the United States Air Force as an aircraft structural mechanic and worked on F-111s and H1N helicopters. Mr. Aguirre attended Orange Coast College, and graduated from Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program, and has an FAA airframe and power plant license.
