Alaska Airlines announces Alaska Beyond™ Entertainment powered by Gogo
This morning, Alaska Airlines announced their new streaming video entertainment product – Alaska Beyond Entertainment. The new entertainment option is powered by Gogo Vision, and offers passengers the ability to stream premium movies, TV shows and free exclusive content to their own devices. The service is available today on 50 of their Boeing 737 aircraft, and will be available on nearly all aircraft by April 2015. To celebrate the launch, content will be available at no extra charge through Jan. 31, 2015.
Movies are stored on our servers on the aircraft, and can be viewed on select iOS and Android devices. To view the content, you’ll need to install the Gogo Video player, available in the Apple App store or Google Play store.
